QuikSplit Terms of Service

1. Who Can Use QuikSplit

You may use the Service only if you agree to these Terms and to the processing of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You may not use QuikSplit if:

• You are barred from receiving services under the laws of the United Kingdom or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• We have previously banned your account for violating these Terms.
• You are under the age of 13.

2. Description

QuikSplit (the "Service") is designed to help you track informal debts, expenses, and bills by allowing you to enter notes about who you owe, who owes you, and why. The Service calculates the sharing math, provides informal sharing advice, and stores this data for your convenience. You agree that the Service is provided "AS IS" and on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

3. Informal Debts

The Service enables users who share a group or are friends on QuikSplit to post debts and payments freely, following wiki-style rules without explicit permissions. These entries are calculated into a determination of debts by the Service. You acknowledge that these debts are not legally binding and represent informal information sharing among roommates, friends, or family. QuikSplit cannot guarantee the accuracy of information entered by users, and you accept this limitation.

4. Conditions of Use

You agree to:

• Use the Service for its intended purpose.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including local, national, and international laws as relevant.
• Refrain from using the Service in a fraudulent, disruptive, aggressive, manipulative, or inappropriate manner, including for money laundering.

QuikSplit reserves the right, but is not obligated, to investigate your use of the Service to ensure compliance with these Terms. We may terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.

5. What You Represent

You agree to:

• Represent yourself honestly.
• Provide information that is true, correct, and current to the best of your knowledge.
• Have the necessary rights, power, authority, and age to agree to these Terms and fulfill your obligations under this agreement.

6. No Warranty

QuikSplit Ltd. does not guarantee that the Service is error-free, complete, or reliable. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. QUIKSPLIT LTD. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Termination and Refusal of Service

We may terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. This includes banning users who violate the QuikSplit Content Standards outlined below.

8. User-Posted Content

You may post content on QuikSplit, such as payment descriptions, comments, group/user avatars, or expense receipts. You are solely responsible for all content you provide, post, upload, or submit. QuikSplit is not responsible for assessing the accuracy, truthfulness, usefulness, legality, safety, morality, or applicability of user-posted content. We may, at our sole discretion, reject or remove content that violates our content standards or for any other reason we deem inappropriate. We are not obligated to monitor user content but may do so at our discretion. QuikSplit is not liable for any failure or delay in removing such content.

9. QuikSplit Content Standards

When sharing content on the Service, you may not post content that:

• You do not have the right to share or that infringes another person's privacy or publicity rights, including content intended to harass, blackmail, or target others.
• Is false, misleading, or deceptive (e.g., misrepresenting yourself via a User Avatar in a harmful way).
• Is obscene, harmful, abusive, or offensive (e.g., nudity is prohibited).
• Incites violence or hatred toward individuals or groups, particularly based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity, including credible threats or hate speech.
• Is illegal, including content related to criminal activity, terrorism, obscenity, child pornography, human exploitation, gambling, drug use, firearms, ammunition, or piracy.
• Is spammy or promotes pyramid schemes, network marketing, or referral marketing programs.
• In QuikSplit's sole discretion, causes or exposes users or QuikSplit to real or potential harm or liability.

10. Privacy and Security

We collect personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, to provide the Service. Our collection and use of this information are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which you must review and agree to for data processing as described therein. QuikSplit Ltd. may disclose personal information, including email content, messages, and data entered into the Service, if required by law, government request (e.g., a warrant), or as specified in the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and are responsible for preventing unauthorized access to your account.

11. No Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL QUIKSPLIT LTD. BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING EMOTIONAL DISTRESS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. QUIKSPLIT LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY AMOUNT FOR SERVICES RENDERED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold QuikSplit Ltd., its employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any third-party claim arising from your use of the Service, including all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs, and attorney fees of any kind.

13. Modifications to the Agreement

QuikSplit Ltd. may modify these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms at quiksplit.luistodobom.com/terms. You agree that these changes are binding even if you have not personally reviewed the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will be replaced by a valid, enforceable provision that closely matches the original intent, and the remaining Terms will remain in effect.

15. Exercise

The failure of QuikSplit Ltd. to exercise or enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of those rights or provisions.

16. Jurisdiction

These Terms, including the Privacy Policy, shall be interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales, reflecting our incorporation in the UK.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and QuikSplit Ltd. regarding the subject matter herein.

18. Payment Services

Some users may access QuikSplit-branded payment or digital wallet services. Details are provided in the QuikSplit Payment Services Terms of Service.

19. External Payment Services

At QuikSplit's sole discretion, some users may access, link to, or integrate with external payment services to send and receive payments outside the QuikSplit website or apps. These integrations are provided "as-is" and "as available" by the third-party payment provider. QuikSplit is not responsible or liable for transactions or services provided by these third parties. You agree to comply with the terms of any linked payment service.
